Articles, in Spanish or in English, should be submitted by e-mail to ecomex@cide.edu, sending the original source file preferably in Microsoft Word; pdf format can also be accepted. If the file is sent in pdf, the authorship should be identified only on a removable cover page, to ensure that the process of peer review is anonymous. Please also state in a cover letter that the article has not been previously published and has not been simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere, neither in English nor in any other language. The cover page should list the author(s), along with the name(s) and address(es) of the institution(s) to which they belong. Besides articles, the journal has a section for notes. A note should be as relevant and well supported as an article, although not necessarily with the same innovative or methodological level. This means that the note can be on something already known, or on a current subject or program, so long as it is of academic interest. All articles must include an abstract (not exceeding 100 words in length) in English and Spanish, five keywords (also in English and Spanish) and JEL classification codes. (Whether the article is written in English or in Spanish, the abstract and keywords must appear in both languages.) According to the format used by economía mexicana NUEVA ÉPOCA, the "Introduction" section must not be numbered. Thus, number 1 will belong to the section immediately after "Introduction". Tables should have horizontal lines only below the title and at the bottom. In figures, normally the only extra lines will be for the axes. Letters in graphs should be of approximately the same size as in the text, and care for simplicity should be used. Once the article is accepted in its final version and after it has completed the editorial process, proofs will be sent to the autor for revision. economía mexicana NUEVA ÉPOCA will only accept the correction of misprints and errors or omissions that may emanate from the edition process. Suppressions, substitutions or additions that greatly alter the formation of the article will not be accepted. The author will have a maximum of 7 natural days to complete the revision. The editors reserve for themselves the right to make grammar corrections and other minor changes at any stage before publication. These small corrections are often necessary so that the document adjusts to the general style of economía mexicana NUEVA ÉPOCA, and do not reflect criticism of the author's style. Once the final version of the article has been accepted, the author(s) grant(s) consent to economía mexicana NUEVA ÉPOCA for reproduction in electronic pages that hold an agreement with this journal. All references to published material and statistical sources must be presented in alphabetical order by the author. Please observe that it is necessary to distinguish among the different source types, such as article in a scientific journal, working document, internet publication, book chapter or book. Each type of bibliographic reference should be written as shown below:
