The comprehensive geriatric assessment isan instrument that allows the integration of knowledge in the clinical, psychological, mental and social spheres within the clinical evaluation of the older adult patient, allowing a broad and clear view of the context of the patient's situation, It facilitates not only the diagnosis of the usual pathological entities but it also integrates the geriatric syndromes, facilitating the distribution of tasks in a multidisciplinary team. It provides a clear vision of the objectives involved in the management intended in giving thema higher guality of life. We present the most utilized tests that help achieve the assessment of the older adult.
