Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the relationship of empowerment and social vulnerability of women in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco. A quantitative methodology was used, with the instrument for the measurement of the gender empowerment. It was applied to 130 women who were receiving pantry in a public institution. A global average level of empowerment was found and less social satisfaction, less ability to influence in the environment and less empowerment; also, vulnerability tends to increase in the population studied.
