Abstract

LENERO, Carmen. Among Myths, Tales and Lies. While I am Reading. Meditations and Aphorisms. Acta poét [online]. 2023, vol.44, n.1, pp.203-220.  Epub Mar 10, 2023. ISSN 2448-735X.  https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.ap.2023.44.1.005735x28.

This is a fragmentary essay, composed of reflections and aphorisms, created by the critical reading of El Cazador Celeste, by the famous Italian essayist and editor Roberto Calasso (1941-2021), and The Resounding Soul. Reflections on the Metaphysics and Vivacity of the Human Person, compiled by Eric Austin Lee and Samuel Kimbriel, which brings together essays by neurologists, theologians, and philosophers around the notion of the soul. Both meditative readings become focused on the concern for language and its paradoxes.

Keywords : Roberto Calasso; Austin Lee; Samuel Kimbriel; Language; Myth; Religion.
