Abstract

This document describes a teacher education program that takes place at the Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda (UNEFM), which aims to ensure that teachers in this university, enhance their skills in the design and implementation of instructional strategies that involve the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in interactive dialogue, leading to innovative educational processes. The experience in the educational intervention is the setting of various teacher training programs; in this case, the experience presented is related to the training of engineers by profession, but teachers by occupation, in teaching strategies that effectively integrate the ICTs and construct virtual learning environments (AVAS) in the different curricular units in engineering programs of the UNEFM. Finally, we present some results.
