Objective: to analyze the different forms of violence experienced by children and adolescents in the three municipalities of Sonora: Hermosillo, Cajeme and Nogales. Methodology: a descriptive analysis of data from secondary sources and government agencies was carried out. Results: in recent years the state has shown an increase in homicides, femicides, family violence, and forced disappearances, which have been accentuated during the pandemic. Value: the analysis incorporates a differential approach by age and gender, as well as the examination of that behavior during the pandemic. Limitations: the lack of access to institutional data and the absence of a differential approach in in consulted data. Conclusions: the violence intensification within the state and particularly in Hermosillo, Cajeme y Nogales has turned children and adolescents who live in in that territory into direct victims.
