The study aimed to describe the political dimension of the Inclusion Index referred to by preschool educators on Special Educational Needs of a particular garden in Iquique, Chile. The index is considered a guide for teachers and educational teams in face of two independent tasks: first to rethink the value that drive their action and those responsible for its implementation; second, to initiate and sustain processes of educational improvement and innovation. Qualitative ethnographic research of a school case with exploratory -descriptive scope. Intentional sample of three pre-school teachers to who Dimension B questionnaire was applied Elaborate inclusive policies of translation and adaptation of the index for Spain of Booth and Ainscow (2002b). The results of the process reveal elements of inclusive management of the garden that contribute to reduce barriers of exclusion in early childhood and projects concrete actions that could be implemented in a phased manner as part of a comprehensive care program.
