Abstract

ENRIQUEZ-ESTRELLA, Miguel Ángel; HERRERA CHAVEZ, Renato Hernán; SAMANIEGO-ERZO, William Marco  and  CALDERON-FLORES, Karla Vanessa. Amazonian agrotourism of the Saquifrancia farm and its value chain. Estud. soc. Rev. aliment. contemp. desarro. reg. [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.62, e231367.  Epub June 03, 2024. ISSN 2395-9169.  https://doi.org/10.24836/es.v33i62.1367.

Objective:

The purpose of this study is to develop an agrotourism plan along with its value chain, focusing on Finca Saquifrancia.

Methodology:

The adopted methodology was characterized as a bibliographic research, combined with a field study, of a descriptive nature and with a nonexperimental cross-sectional design.

Result:

The structure of agrarian tourism was based on three essential components: the provision of accommodation, agricultural production, and industrial activity. This approach took into account the dynamics of the market, the service offerings, and the proposed activities. The successful integration of tourism into economic, social, cultural, and environmental contexts requires effective planning and management.

Limitations:

The farm is in a situation where it faces significant restrictions in the promotion of its tourism services, specifically in the agrotourism sector, which represents an emerging and expanding market segment.

Conclusion:

As a result of this structure, the agroindustrial estate has promoted the development of agrotourism in the region, offering an innovative proposal and achieving significant progress in its organizational structure.
