Abstract

This research article, based on primary sources, centers in the analysis of a case study of a teacher who suffered injustice in her teaching practice as well as a reduction in her salary. This research considers the defense that students from the college of education in Veracruz made of this event thus demonstrating their moral, ethical and youth values. This work contributes to the history of education in Mexico in the last part of the XIX century and beginning of the XX, as well as to the history of women which makes understood and visible women´s love for the country and their teaching profession.
