Abstract

This paper presents exact solutions to Maxwell's equations in a dispersive and nonlinear chiral singlemode optical fiber. The chirality is characterized through the Born-Fedorov formalism. This work allows us to analize the effect of chirality over the propagation equation of optical pulses. The results we present in this paper may help in the study of optical fiber.
