Abstract

MORA-DONATTO, Cecilia. The New Challenges of Parliamentary Control in Mexico. Analysis and Reflections. Bol. Mex. Der. Comp. [online]. 2018, vol.51, n.153, pp.627-671.  Epub Apr 20, 2020. ISSN 2448-4873.  https://doi.org/10.22201/iij.24484873e.2018.153.13652.

This article analyzes thhe instruments of parliamentary control in Mexican law, a subject that again becomes relevant because in 2018 there will be two new instruments of this nature that are: the approval by the Chamber of Deputies of the National Development Plan and approval by the Senate of the National Public Security Strategy. If we add thhe constitutional reform of 2014 that will allow consecutive legislative re-election, thhese circumstances will undoubtedly give greater importance to thhesepowers of control exercised by each of the Chambers.

Keywords : parliamentary control; National Development Plan; National Strategy of Public Security; Parliamentary Opposition.
