In this study we describe Aleuropleurocelus xalapensis Sánchez-Flores y Carapia-Ruiz sp. nov., found in the States of Jalisco, Puebla, and Veracruz, Mexico on leaves of Quercus insignis M. Martens & Galeotti. Microphotographs of morphological structures of puparium are proportionated, and relationship with oval-shape species of Aleuropleurocelus is discussed.
