We report a several cases of bat attack (Natalus mexicanus) by a giant centipede (Scolopendra sumichrasti). The event took place in the cave of "Los Laguitos", Chiapas State, Mexico. This finding represents the fourth giant centipede species know to attack on bats. In Chiapas, centipede attacks on bats occurred at dusk close the exit of cave, during the emergence flight from diurnal roosts, while in previous records it is reported that the attacks were at the perch sites.
