With the guidance of the notions “Survival of Antiquity” and “Migration Routes”, which come from the work of Aby Warburg, a travel itinerary of the Grotesques is recreated from late Antiquity, its rediscovery during the Renaissance, to Granada, Spain and from there to the illuminated choirbooks by Luis Lagarto in New Spain.
