Abstract

GONZALEZ REYES, Max. The State of the Union Address: from opulance to the decline of presidentialism. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2011, n.24, pp.55-76. ISSN 0185-1616.

The Union address was a crucial element in Mexico's political life, because it showed the performance of the Mexican public administration and the political actors who were part of it. It is also important to take into account an additional political factor linked to the previous idea, the government in turn try to influence, in ideological terms, in the direction of the public policies of the national agenda.
