Abstract

The paper describes the work of the Green Party of Mexico (PVEM) in the House of Representatives during the Legislatures LVII-LX (1997-2009) from a quantitative and qualitative analysis. So in one hand, using the rate of legislative efficiency and in the other, accentuates the topics that emphasized or omitted during their work. Thus, attempts to demonstrate the importance of the PVEM Parliamentary Group on environmental issues and how the Party obtained a high level of support in its initiatives within the Congress.
