Abstract

MARTINEZ VALDES, Gustavo. Centralization in the selection of candidates for governor in Mexico, PAN, PRI and PRD between 2000 and 2010. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2013, n.29, pp.67-88. ISSN 0185-1616.

The article identifies the different types of processes used by the PAN, PRI and PRD to choose their candidates for state governors office during the year 2000 to 2010. Here is identified a centralizing tendency in these inner decisions, instead of the use of participatory methods. It observed and classified the methods use by the parties to selected their candidates in the study period.
