In the present article the author conceives that leadership is one of the basic attributes of politics and should be an important object of study for political science, since the leadership of the political class is essential for the good operation of the political system. Is by this that in this work is analyzes the leadership political of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, circumscribed to the field of the Movement of Regeneration National (MORENA) party of which he is its founder and undisputed leader.
