Abstract

ORTEGA REYNA, Jaime. A Blind Spot in the Critique of Political Economy: the debate Carlos Pereyra-Bolívar Echeverría. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2018, n.43, pp.63-81. ISSN 0185-1616.

Carlos Pereyra and Bolívar Echeverría were two intellectuals who defined an era with respect to the marxist discourse. In the late eighties both authors entered into a discussion about the scope and limits of this discourse. The so-called "crisis of Marxism" had anchored in Mexico; this forced to take a position: Pereyra made it through the questioning of the "critique of political economy" and its "blind point", for it had to do an exercise of questioning the work of Bolívar Echeverría.
