The ten boroughs of the city of San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, Mexico., are composed of subjects who shape a socio-religious territory and possess collective memory, the result of the appropriation, which is signified through ritual practices, sustained through a system of charges, and reflected in calendars and ritual cycles, sacred places and trajectories, which together sustain a local identity within the urban context.
