Abstract

This article describes the social and territorial organization for the festive ceremony, an old tradition village located in the extreme west of the metropolis of Toluca. The hypothesis says that through ritual cycles and religious and civic organization access to the worldview of the peoples of this region called Mesoamerica. The specific contribution of this paper is to show this process in a village of intense urban integration. Thus, this article links, reflexively, territory and social organization to emphasize for the Mesoamerican worldview alive, in a context of intense metropolization.
