Abstract

ESTRADA SAAVEDRA, Marco. La normalidad como excepción: la banalidad del mal, la conciencia y el juicio en la obra de Hannah Arendt. Rev. mex. cienc. polít. soc [online]. 2007, vol.49, n.201, pp.31-53. ISSN 0185-1918.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fcpys.2448492xe.2007.201.42590.

Moral questions in Hannah Arendt’s work have an enduring relevance. Thus, there is a need to establish the meaning of the expression “banality of evil” in order to explain the complex connections between thought, consciousness and judgment, and how this circuit is destroyed in totalitarian regimes through ideology, terror, and the obliteration of politics.

Keywords : Hanna Arendt; Adolf Eichman; banalidad del mal; filosofía moral; totalitarismo; nacionalsocialismo; moral; juicio; normalidad; pensamiento.
