Abstract

SANTIESTEBAN, Luis César. Heidegger's Confrontation to Saint Augustine and Medieval Mystic: A Critical Remark of Studies on Medieval Mystic by Martin Heidegger. Diánoia [online]. 2007, vol.52, n.58, pp.177-183. ISSN 0185-2450.

This article attempts to give a report on the confrontation of Heidegger with Saint Augustine and medieval mystical theology, as well as the way in which Heidegger when writing Being and Time makes his the ideology of the philosopher from Tagaste, and the way in which his dialogue is being created and shaped by the medieval mystical theology while forming at the same time his own religious attitude. We have taken Studies on Medieval Mystic by Heidegger as the basis for this interpretation.

Keywords : phenomenology; factical life; religious life; medieval mystical.
