Abstract

Guillermo Hurtado’s perspective on the Mexican Revolution is discussed. This author investigates both the philosophical ideas that served as background for the actions in that process as those that resulted from it. For this purpose, his book La revolución creadora. Antonio Caso y José Vasconcelos en la Revolución mexicana (2016) is analyzed. Hurtado’s vision is said to be revolutionary and marks an important milestone in Mexican philosophy.
