Abstract

PLASENCIA DE LA PARRA, Enrique. Delahuertista Exile. Estud. hist. mod. contemp. Mex [online]. 2012, n.43, pp.105-134. ISSN 0185-2620.

This work analyzes the exile of military officials and politicians who took part in the De la Huerta rebellion (1923-1924), and describes their political activities in the United States during the period from 1924 to 1929, and their efforts to maintain influence on the Mexican political scene and specifically to begin a new armed movement, which would be coordinated from exile. It studies the Mexican government's relationship with the United States, to reach a better understanding of the role played by the exiles. The work describes the return of this political group during the 1930's, as a result of the exile of Calles, on the instruction of president Lázaro Cárdenas.

Keywords : delahuertismo; callismo; obregonismo; escobarismo; military revolutions; exile.
