Abstract

GILARDI, Pilar. The problem of historical truth: a reading from hermeneutic phenomenology. Estud. hist. mod. contemp. Mex [online]. 2013, n.46, pp.121-140. ISSN 0185-2620.

This article addresses the question of historical truth understood in terms of comprehension and respect, which is a boundary on the traditional interpretation of truth as adequacy. Heidegger's thought, conceived as hermeneutic phenomenology, is the displacement of the question of truth and history to an area prior to the theory of knowledge and places it in the opening constitutive of man characterized by understanding and interpretation, conditions of possibility of any scientific truth.

Keywords : Truth; history; phenomenology; hermeneutic; comprehension; interpretation; aletheia.
