Abstract

MARUM-ESPINOSA, ELIA. La movilidad de estudiantes, características y opiniones de los estudiantes extranjeros en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2004, vol.26, n.105-106, pp.143-158. ISSN 0185-2698.

This article deals with the representations of foreign students who take part of exchange programs in Guadalajara, about themselves as performers of their own training process and about the learning environment as well. The research is about elements which allow to understand their own conception as students from other institutions, out of their original environment, and to know what they think about the educational system in Mexico, the Mexican institution which takes them in and the Mexican actors, in order to improve the internationalization process of the institutions. At the beginning, the author describes the main features of the actors, with a special emphasis on the resemblances and differences between students, teachers and environment according to the foreign students points of view, and on the impact of the mobility program in their academic and human development.
