This article has a purpose to analyze the political culture of a group of Spanish university students (particularly enrolled at the University of Cantabria). The author shows the general features of their political culture, the influence that may exercise upon them certain external factors such as gender, age, political position or the faculty in which they are enrolled. And, finally, he builds up a typology of students according to their political behavior. The analyzed information comes from two different sources: on one hand, a survey applied to a representative sample of students and, on the other, by deep interviews to the same students. Throughout the article the author tends to combine both methodologies.
