Abstract

BARBOSA-CHACON, Jorge Winston; BARBOSA HERRERA, Juan Carlos  and  RODRIGUEZ VILLABONA, Margarita. The concept, focus and rationale of systematizing education experiences: A glance from the perspective of and for the university education context. Perfiles educativos [online]. 2015, vol.37, n.149, pp.130-149. ISSN 0185-2698.

This article presents the findings of a research project aimed at strengthening experience systematization (ES) as an observation and follow-up strategy of a technological program at a university in Colombia. Three consecutive processes were used as the research methodology: the proposal and development of state-of-the-art ES; the definition of findings related to theoretical knowledge; and a reformulation of the strategy. The first two processes were carried out through a methodology for specific documentary review and analysis. This methodology allowed for the determination and transfer of findings regarding the concept, focus and rationale of experience systematization. Important assessments were made regarding the process to analyze the categories of the documentary revision, as well as the relationship and incidence of knowledge-related findings vis-á-vis the dynamics of the intervention context. Finally, suppositions were made regarding the research experience.
