Abstract

GERARD, Etienne. ¿Fuga de cerebros o "doble movilidad"?: Un análisis de las implicaciones de la migración de estudiantes marroquíes hacia Francia y su inserción profesional en Marruecos. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2008, vol.37, n.148, pp.87-99. ISSN 0185-2760.

If a "brain drain" exists perhaps it means that knowledge is not valued enough within the country that suffers it. Several reasons may exist, one of them can be because the labour market does not have good offers or recommends minor employments opposite to which they are given abroad, or domestic universities are not so credited like the ones elsewhere. So, to study the movement of the studies that Europe offers for the inhabitants of the south of the Mediterranean is an interesting process to observe. In this paper, we will study the case of the Moroccan young men who go to France in pursuit of a better education to return to their country with a better experience as to have a better future.

Keywords : brain drain; labour market; better opportunities.
