Abstract
GERARD, Etienne and MALDONADO, Estela. "Polos de saber" y "cadenas de saber": Impactos de la movilidad estudiantil en la estructuración del campo científico mexicano. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2009, vol.38, n.152, pp.49-62. ISSN 0185-2760.
Having analyzed the paths of the teachers training abroad on the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), we observe the coincidence in certain destinies of disciplinary formation. These destinies are, principally, the United States, France, England and Spain. We have named them as "poles of mobility" and "poles of knowledge" for the double value that they possess. They have become destination, formation and the origin of "chains of knowledge" established among the foreign and Mexican researchers. The teachers of the UAM particularly, those that were trained in French universities and laboratories, may let us ask ourselves about the impact of these chains of knowledge in the current processes of mobility and, in consequence, in the formation of the future teachers and investigators generations.
Keywords : Mobility; career education; poles of knowledge; chains of knowledge.
