Abstract

TIRADO MORUETA, Ramón; TEJEDA, Rafael  and  CEDENO, Gardenia. Institutional implementation of a cooperative model for tracking graduates in Ecuador. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2015, vol.44, n.173, pp.125-156. ISSN 0185-2760.

As part of the process of rebuilding the higher education system in Ecuador, where more than a dozen universities have been closed and others have lost their accreditation, CEAACES (Consejo de Evaluación, Acreditación y Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior), has included among its indicators for universities the existence of systems for tracking graduates. This article studies the implantation of one such system at a public university in Ecuador, which operates through a central coordination unit, in which faculties cooperate in compiling and analyzing the information.
