Abstract

MORALES MONTES, Mitzi Danae  and  MARTINEZ DOMINGUEZ, Néstor Daniel. Inequality as a norm: The technological capitals of university students. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2022, vol.51, n.204, pp.23-41.  Epub May 29, 2023. ISSN 0185-2760.  https://doi.org/10.36857/resu.2022.204.2276.

This research focuses on analyzing the experiences of a group of students in the process of constructing their technological capital during their university education. We conducted focus groups where 23 students participated. We proposed three different types of construction of technological capital among the student analyzed, with the purpose of illustrating the qualitative singularities in their process of accumulation of said capital. It is observed that the current conditions of the public university contribute to the inequitable configuration of technological capital among students and reproduce the existing inequality in other fields than educational.
