Abstract

This paper reviews the presence of classical tradition in the Juan de Mena's Laberinto de Fortuna. The materials are distributed in several sections: direct or indirect references to authors of Greek literature; direct or indirect allusions to authors of Latin literature; historical (or legendary) Greek or Roman personages; general notes about Graeco-Roman culture (literature, rhetoric, sciences, arts, geographical names, Greek or Roman gentilitial names, vocabulary and other peculiarities).
