Abstract

MARTINEZ DE LA ESCALERA, Ana María. Violence critique. Violence as an Activity of Bodily Inscriptions. Acta poét [online]. 2019, vol.40, n.2, pp.13-26. ISSN 2448-735X.  https://doi.org/10.19130/iifl.ap.2019.2.853.

Throughout this essay of philosophical critique, we address the relationship between violence and the bodies it produces. This critique possesses a sui generis philosophical past: Spinoza’s and Nietzsche’s texts in which they both question the opposition between Law and Violence. It shows a modern validity thanks to the contributions of Benjamin’s as well as Derrida’s voices. This text invites us to deal with violence as a material activity historically produced by discursive and practical intervention of individual bodies and their relationships according to a Marxist materalist perspective.

Keywords : violence; intervention; take; body and bodily inscriptions.
