Abstract

MORALES MUNOZ, Marco Vinicio. Practices of Institutional Intervention in the Creation and Sociopolitical Organization of Rarámuri Settlements in the City of Chihuahua: The Case of El Oasis. Relac. Estud. hist. soc. [online]. 2013, vol.34, n.134, pp.19-55. ISSN 2448-7554.

This article analyzes the process of institutional intervention that gave rise to the Rarámuri settlements in the city of Chihuahua. The approach is oriented by the social actor perspective regarding practices of intervention as a means of explaining the way in which development policies proposed by certain institutions propelled the construction of those spaces while also promoting a specific type of organization based on the Rarámuri's own political model.
