Abstract

The objective of this essay is to analyze, from a geographical perspective, the construction of an indigenous spatiality in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, by emphasizing the social relations between the indigenous and a certain circle of social agents responsible for the visibility of the indigenous in this metropolis. It thus highlights the actions, events and legal initiatives designed to attend to, and support, this sector. The aim is to examine the process of organizing the indigenous population in the metropolitan area through these elements.
