Abstract

The aim of this paper is to propose a new interpretation about of the evolution of the municipal division in State of Mexico, between 1827 and 1910, through to relate indicators of different nature. For the first time, set municipal units were involved in all segregations and municipal annexation occurred in that period. It considers the offensive of oligarch criollo-mestiza against indigenous comuneros, and the conflicts within these two socio-political actors too.
