Abstract

At the end of the 19th century and during the first third of the 20th century, schools contributed to the spread of tuberculosis. The Modern School. Hispanic American Pedagogical Magazine (1892 to 1934) sought the prevention and overcoming of such a disease. And the aim of the analysis is to identify the measures to overcome the tuberculosis in childhood. The analysis indicates various types of actions. These could involve the school or not, but always giving prominence to childhood. This work is interesting because the source is revised for this purpose for the first time.
