A checklist of 43 species of mushrooms from Temascaltepec Municipality, State Mexico is presented. All studied species are new records from Temascaltepec Municipality and Gymnopilus luteofolius is a new record to Mexico . Most of the specimens were collected in Pinus spp. and Quercus spp. or Abies religiosa forests more or less well preserved. Edible, toxic and ectomycorrhizal species were found.
