The objective of this contribution is to increase the knowledge of the diversity of the litter anamorphic fungi from Mexico. The material studied was collected in different tropical locations from the state of Veracruz. Fifteen species associated to plant debris are described; thirteen are new records for Mexico. Each record is complemented with its taxonomic description, illustrations, substrates and geographic distribution.
