Abstract

CALDERA-SERRANO, Jorge  and  LEON-MORENO, José-Antonio. Marketing analysis of the web-based commercialization of television audiovisual files: opportunities and implications. Investig. bibl [online]. 2010, vol.24, n.52, pp.217-235. ISSN 2448-8321.

This paper describes and analyzes the central aspects to consider when marketing audiovisual information stored in television archives, including technical issues and ethical problem surrounding the legality of their sale. Special attention is afforded to documentation issues, the differences that may exist between documentary data bases and the general philosophy of document management. Moreover technical issues in carrying out business transactions involving images over the web are also analyzed.
