Abstract

ROUX, Rhina. México, cambio de siglo: La desintegración de la res publica. Argumentos (Méx.) [online]. 2007, vol.20, n.53, pp.93-113. ISSN 0187-5795.

The globalization is the expansion of the capitalist market without nacional, juridical or social barriers. This new capitalist universalization appears like a great transformation: a historical change in the political forms, global space, geography, culture and subjectivities. In Mexico this great transformation is tearing the material, geographical and cultural basis of the State and redefining its existence: its integration in the world, the relationship with other States and internal codes of authority and hegemony. This process, conflicting and disputed, is taking place and their outcome is open.

Keywords : globalización; integración regional; Estado mexicano.
