This text is showing the first reflexions about ethnografic research aplied on several towns (called Pueblos Originarios) over the south of Mexico City. Readers will find a short view of the anthropologic work considered as background of this new researches of the City. Work about mesoamerican cosmovision and the "sistema de cargos" are mentioned like a paradigm of the ethnographic data construction for the colleagues who get meet on the seminary "Ethnography of Basin of Mexico" it has been happening at IIA-UNAM since 1998.
