Abstract

RAMOS MEJIA, Aurora. How to produce a deep transformative experience in an experimental course of physical chemistry?. Educ. quím [online]. 2018, vol.29, n.2, pp.62-73. ISSN 0187-893X.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fq.18708404e.2018.2.63708.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is a didactic approach of knowledge construction from the context, which can produce the intrinsic motivation for deep learning, but requires a very complex methodological commitment of implementation and resources. A methodological description is presented, with examples, to design an experimental course where the most important thing is to produce in students a profound and transformative experience of the exercise of physicochemical thinking through a real problem of their interest.

Keywords : Problem-Based Learning (PBL); context; Deep learning; Experimental work; Backward design; rubric.
