In this paper, a document management system for the laboratory practices of the Chemistry Bachelor in the University of La Rioja is presented. The tool contains the information about the title and abstract of the laboratory sessions carried out in the Bachelor. The practices are classified in the system by the modules, subjects, years and academic semesters, together with their keywords. The tool has a user hierarchy based on their role in the system and it allows the query and search of the laboratory sessions by applying several computer filters. Once its design is finished, the computer application has been made available for the Bachelor teachers in order to its application for improving or modifying laboratory practices with the whole information of the laboratory practices that are now realized. This allows to enhance the horizontal and vertical coordination in the laboratory sessions scheduled for the whole Bachelor. The usefulness of the tool implies its continuous update in order to include the changes of every academic year (updating the teachers, changes in the laboratory practices because of their improvement or removing, inclusion of new practices, etc.). So, this document management system is a computer tool that must be updated and improved.
