SILVA, Ivoneide Mendes da; LINS, Walquíria Castelo Branco  and  LEAO, Marcelo Brito Carneiro. Evaluation of the application of the methodology problem-basead learning in the discipline of information technology and communication in chemistry teaching. Educ. quím [online]. 2019, vol.30, n.3, pp.64-78.  Epub Nov 30, 2019. ISSN 0187-893X.  https://doi.org/10.22201/fq.18708404e.2019.3.68493.

This work evaluate the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) methodology in the discipline of Information and Communication Technology in the Chemistry Teaching (TICEQ) of a brazilian public university, in order to analyze if it provides students with a more critical training process regarding the discussions on the integration of ICT in teaching Chemistry. The research participants were 16 undergraduate students in chemistry, duly enrolled in the discipline. The methodology used was qualitative, using two instruments: observation, using the video recording technique, and the collection of documents. The results indicate that the implementation of the PBL favored a better reflection on the insertion of ICT in the teaching of Chemistry, as well as encouraging students to reflect on their future teaching practice.
