Abstract

We present a meta-synthesis carried out from a serious of research that, in the last 40 years, have shown empiric outcomes linked with the difficulties associated with the learning of the concept ‘concentration of dissolutions’, both in middle and higher educational levels. We analyze, drawing on a sample of papers, their theoretical approaches, methods, and outcomes. We conclude, from this review, that the number of research is exiguous in comparison with other subjects, and that therefore this line of research has not had neither continuity nor progression over time. The results show that this subject has been primarily approached from misconceptions, describing very concrete difficulties associated with data recollection tools used in each study.
