Abstract

MOLANO CRUZ, Giovanni. Actors and Structures of Inter-Regionalism: European Union-Andean Community. Rev. Mex. Sociol [online]. 2007, vol.69, n.4, pp.571-603. ISSN 2594-0651.

This article determines the types of authority that intervene in the inter-regionalism between the European Union and the Andean Community. The analytical approach is deductive and divided into three parts. The first describes Euro-Andean relations, while the second presents a theoretical debate on interregionalism to identify their contributions to the explanation of EU-AC relations. The third describes the actors that intervene in these relations. The central argument is that in order to understand EU-AC interregionalism and determine the types of actors that participate in it, it is essential to contextualize Euro-Andean relations in the structures of the world political and economic and economic system.

Keywords : international policy; international cooperation; economic integration.
