Abstract

FLAX, Rocío. Hegemonic articulation in the discourse of the La Cámpora group. Rev. Mex. Sociol [online]. 2016, vol.78, n.1, pp.89-118. ISSN 2594-0651.

This article is part of a project that seeks to understand the discursive specificity of a new Argentine political youth group known as La Cámpora. It studies a series of speeches taken from the group's website and supports the hypothesis that La Cámpora creates its identity on the basis of a tension between an oppositional structure and the construction of equivalential chains. In this logic, the configuration of political enemies is crucial. In its speeches, the group employs a strategy of deploying two different poles that correspond, as appropriate, to different periods of time or different contemporary social actors.

Keywords : critical discourse analysis; political discourse; social representations; youth; identity; Peronism.
